The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas will begin sailing in December 2009 and will the be largest and most innovative cruise ship in the industry. The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas will span 16 decks, encompass 220,000 gross tons and carry an amazing 5,400 cruise passengers. The Oasis of the Seas will sail from her home port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and embark on 7-Night Eastern & Western Caribbean cruise itineraries.

07/24/08 - Oasis of the Seas opens up for sale to the general public on September 3, 2008. Diamond Plus & Diamond Crown & Anchor members will be entitled to book earlier on August 21, 2008. All other Crown & Anchor members will be allowed to book on August 28, 2008.
06/18/08 - More features announced onboard the Oasis of the Seas, which include new neigborhoods such as the Boardwalk and Royal Promenade. In addition to new neigborhoods, new onboard venues, staterooms and ammenities announced including the AquaTheater, ZipLine, Loft Staterooms, and much more!
05/23/08 - Royal Caribbean announced the two names of their Genesis class cruise ships. The first ship due in late 2009 will be called the Oasis of the Seas. The second ship, which is due out in late 2010 will be called the Allure of the Seas.
04/15/08 - Royal Caribbean reveals first neigborhood onboard the Genesis class cruise ships, which is called Central Park. Central Park features open air space, lush greenery, multiple dining options, park-view staterooms, rising tide bar and much more!
